IVF is a meticulously orchestrated process that brings together the key elements of life outside the body. The journey begins with stimulating the ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs, aiming for a range of potential rather than just a single egg, as in a natural cycle.

The next step is egg retrieval, a minimally invasive procedure performed under sedation and guided by ultrasound. These precious eggs are then carefully transported to a state-of-the-art laboratory, where the magic of fertilization happens.

Eggs are combined with a carefully selected group of sperm, allowing fertilization to occur naturally in a controlled environment. The sperm swim toward the egg, attempting to break through its protective outer layer

Once fertilized, the eggs develop into embryos, which are nurtured and observed over time. The most promising embryos are selected for the final step: the transfer. Using a slender catheter, embryos are carefully placed into the uterus, where they hope to implant and grow.

For some couples, infertility requires a more targeted approach, and that's where ICSI shines. In ICSI, a single sperm is magnified and injected directly into the egg by an embryologist, offering a solution for male infertility issues like low sperm count or poor motility.

ICSI is especially beneficial for couples with male factor infertility or when previous IVF cycles have been unsuccessful. This technique exemplifies precision at a cellular level, marking a breakthrough in assisted fertilization.
